Welcome to the THM Teach Homeschool Assistance Program
THM Sadaqa Group alhamdulillah has once again been given the ability to offer parents an extended outlet for safe, secure, and authentic resources for the purpose of academic and Islamic homeschool instruction and assistance. Although, we use the general updated academic used/textbooks by well known publishers this information is deciphered and broken down for specific content usage. As instructors it is our responsibility to uphold a consistent standard of excellence regarding our task. May Allah grant us and you success upon this path of education, aameen.
Truly we are grateful that Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala) who has allowed this opportunity for us and you. We make dua that this effort will bring about the honest and upright homeschooling that is needed for our Muslim children to maintain a successful outlook on their religion, according to the way it has been revealed to us from Qur’an, Sunnah, and the path of the Companions aameen and not by how it has been presented to them in the public school system, deviant schools, or false calls to corruption wherever that may be from aameen. It is our duty as Muslims to teach them to stay far away from the call of terrorism, the khawarij, the acts of the despicable people, and the haram in general, by calling them to the truth bi’ithinillah!
Think about what the meaning of “save yourselves and your families from the fire” truly means. What does this require from you? How shall you achieve it and be successful? Your answer, can only be by following Quran wa Sunnah and the path of the Companions (and those who believe) in truth!
To do this we must learn from the Scholars of the present such as Shaykh Salih al-Fawzaan (hafidhullah), from the scholars of the past such as Shaykh Muqbil (rahimahullah), Shaykh Muhammad bin Salih al-Uthaymeen (rahimahullah) or his students example Dr. Salih as Salih (rahimahullah), Shaykh Bin Baz (rahimahulah), Shaykh Burjis (rahimahullah), and countless others. Also, by taking the lessons from the callers of this blessed dawah like: Abu Muhammad al-Maghribi, Moosa Richardson, Mustapha George, Hassan Somali, Abu Khadijah, Abdulilah Lahmami, Abu Muadh Taqweem, (may Allah have mercy upon all of them and continue to preserve them upon the good aameen) and there are other true fountains of knowledge not mentioned here.
Access to all of these above mentioned sources of authentic knowledge is vast and obtainable by the Mercy of Allah through books, audio, and internet walhamdulillah!
See a detailed list here barakAllahu feekunna
Enrollment in the THM Sadaqa Group program is for *advanced (student already knows how to read and write independently) 3rd grade to 8th grade students. All students who enroll for this program must be registered with their individual states as being homeschooled. At no time will THM Sadaqa Group take responsibility for filing the “Declaration of Intent to Homeschool Form.”
Georgia students may submit your forms online here https://www.gadoe.org/Curriculum-Instruction-and-Assessment/Pages/Home-Study-DOI.aspx
Your child is required to be present in class daily according to the schedule given. Each semester an “Attendance Record total” will be forwarded to the parent, as a confirmation of actual days completed. All students falling short in attendance can expect to repeat the current year of enrolled classes MashaAllah. “You cannot gain benefit when you are not present!”
This should help you with the required submission of attendance forms to your state if needed. MAJOR CHANGE TO GEORGIA HOMESCHOOL LAW.docx does not require attendance, but we do!
According to most if not all states, children are required to have (part-time or full-time status) up to 4.5 hours of Instruction daily with 180 days of school per year. However, the subjects from state to state may vary. The current subjects taught at THM Teach for instruction in Academics are as follows and may exceed the 4.5 hours of daily classroom/homework instruction required with homework assistance available. Students may or may not be enrolled for all courses:

Children who are enrolled for participation have the ability to enroll in courses available to fill the 4.5 hour limit needed and beyond that requirement up to 5 hours per day + 2 hours (daily class + homework help) . We suggest however, if your child or children, are not beyond 6th grade that you as the parent evaluate the students needs to see what they can or cannot handle and we encourage you to push for success bi’ithnillah. Additional courses such as the “academic elective choice” may be of benefit to them as well. We suggest after evaluating their individual levels of comprehension that you then enroll them for additional academic or Islamic Studies courses inshaAllah.
Parents in need of Verification of Enrollment Forms only need to request it inshaAllah. Please allow 3 to 7 days for its completion and pick up. You may then pick it up during drop off or pick up times. For documents that require being mailed please allow an additional 3 days due to postal requirements inshaAllah.

Detailed Form Verification of Enrollment Form 2014 – 2015.pdf
Jundub Ibn Abdullah al-Bajaly said,
“We learned iman (faith) and then we learned the Quran and it increased our iman.”
Abdullah ibn Umar said, “We lived during an instant of time in which one of us would receive faith first before receiving the Quran and when the surahs were revealed we would learn what they permitted and what they prohibited and what they forbade and what they ordered and what should be the stance towards them. But I have seen many men from whom one is given the Quran before iman and he reads it from the opening of the Book to its closing and he does not know what it orders and what it forbids and what should be his stance towards it. He is like someone who is just throwing out dates [i.e., he does not get any benefit from his recital].”
That is the manner in which the Prophet brought up his companions: Iman first and then the Quran. This is similar to what Imam Abu Hanifa pointed out: Understanding in the religion first (i.e. tauheed) and then understanding in the science (i.e. the shariah).
The beliefs must be corrected first, then follows all of the other aspects of the religion.
