A dua I’m learning today in shaa’Allah

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem

Assalaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuh ya Muslimaat, just sharing a brief benefit in shaa’Allah

By the mercy of Allah this morning (earlier), I had the opportunity to listen (unencumbered) to a lecture from our noble brother and teacher Moosaa Richardson (hafidhullah) from the 130 Hadeeth on Manners; #52 lesson hadith #60. BarakAllahu Feekum (check the spreaker channel to see what you’ve been missing)

In this lesson, may Allah raise the brother’s rank, Allahumma aameen; he introduces several benefits:

1. A new companion that most of us had no knowledge of

2. Details about a book (6 volume set) that gives biographies on companions that only narrated one or two hadith

3. And this dua, may Allah aide us in gaining its benefits Allahumma aameen (can locate the original from the text of the workbook or the index) in shaa’Allah

“O Allah! Keep me from displaying bad character, bad actions, desires, and illnesses.”

*منكرات

from the worst of

*illnesses in reference to those that the people have not found a cure for and it causes death

What are you studying? Share the benefits with others bi’ithnillah
