To be used with additional explanation by Salaah Brooks and Ustadh Moosaa Richardson (hafidhullah) audio classes from spreaker. Take notes and combine with benefits from the reading in shaa’Allaah.
Today’s Class: Ch. 1 Merit of Monotheism pgs. 18 – 30. Review of chapter title, Surah al-Anam (6):82, several ahaadith, and connecting this information to the 20 benefits in tawheed. Lecture 2: Towheed Expiates Sins (Part 1 of 3) Note*Students must have the book of Kitaabat-Tawheed to be able to connect and follow along with the text from Shaykhul Islaam Muhammad bin Abdul-Wahhab (rahimahullah) in shaa’Allaah by covering chapter 2 from those books.
“Ubadah bin as-Samit (radiAllahu anhu) said, Allah’s Messenger (salla allahu alaihi wa salaam) said; “Whosoever testifies that there is none who has the right to be worshipped but Allah, alone without partners, and that Muhammad is His worshipper and Messenger, and that, Isa is a worshipper of Allah, His Messenger, His word delivered to Maryam, and a soul from Him, and that Paradise is true, and that the Fire is true, Allah will admit him to Paradise whatever his deeds may be.” (al-Bukhari and Muslim)
And they also recorded the hadith of Itban (radiAllahu anhu): who narrated that the Prophet (sallaAllahu alaihi wa sallaam said: “Indeed Allah prohibited the Fire from whoever said La Ilaha illa Allah (no one deserves to be worshipped but Allah), seeking His Face by it.” (Ibn Hiban)
